I registered with MachineryZone as a transport company in order to receive transport quotation requests from customers using their platform. This was a paid service.
Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing.
The main problem is that the system for receiving transport quotation requests did not appear to work properly. I tested it myself by submitting a transport request through MachineryZone's customer-facing form, but my registered transport company did not receive the request.
I reported this problem to MachineryZone and opened a support ticket. However, the issue was not resolved, while I continued to be charged for the service.
There was another concern regarding the information provided by their representative. I repeatedly asked for specific data on how many users actually click the “Send Request” button and how many transport quotation request forms are submitted through MachineryZone and distributed to registered transport companies. Instead of providing clear and consistent figures, their representative gave me different numbers each time I followed up.
As a paying transport company, this information is important because it directly indicates the actual volume of transport enquiries generated by the service and therefore its potential commercial value.
Based on my experience, MachineryZone's transport service did not provide the functionality or commercial value I was paying for. Most importantly, even after I demonstrated the problem and reported it to their support team, I continued to be charged while the underlying issue remained unresolved.
I would not recommend this service to transport companies looking for a reliable source of freight quotation requests.
Super site, un peu déçu, pas content, site fiable; exprimez-vous !
